Korea joins Hague

The Republic of Korea has joined the Hague Agreement.

This is exciting news.  Until recently, Hague had been a mostly-Europe thing.  As we know, the US is inching close and closer to depositing its Instrument of Accession to the Hague Agreement, but that will not be possible until the USPTO publishes its Final Rules.

For the past year there has been talk that Korea and China might soon join Hague.   And now comes the news that on March 31, 2014, Korea deposited its Instrument of Accession.  You can see the Information Notice.

The Agreement will enter into force for Korea on July 1, 2014.
