There is yet more progress with Offices joining DAS for industrial designs.
I am indebted to alert reader Daniel Feigelson who blogged about this here. ILPO will join DAS both as a Depositing Office and as an Accessing Office starting July 1, 2020. This will bring to 13 the number of Depositing Offices for designs (Australia, Canada, Chile, China, Georgia, India, Israel, Japan, Norway, Korea, Spain, the US, and the IB). Conspicuous by its absence will remain EUIPO. This will bring to 12 the number of Accessing Offices for designs (Australia, Canada, Chile, China, Georgia, India, Israel, Japan, Norway, Korea, Spain, and the US). Again conspicuous by its absence will remain EUIPO.
