It is my honor to post the eleventh annual US Utility Patent Toteboard.
The USPTO issued about 325040 US utility patents in 2025. The goal of this toteboard, brought to you by the Ant-Like Persistence blog, is to list the firms that helped clients to obtain these patents. It ranks the firms according to the number of US utility patents obtained in 2025. Each firm was invited in early 2026 to submit a simple online questionnaire. The closing date for the questionnaires was Friday, February 13, 2026. Each firm was asked to report only US utility patents for which that firm is listed on the front page of the granted patent.

I see that conspicuous by their absence are two very large very well-known patent firms. Each of the two firms that I am thinking of is a firm that I emailed reminders to, multiple times, to multiple attorneys at the firm. So the absence is wholly due to the firm itself, not to any omission on my part.
