Who should attend?  Any practitioner who gives advice to clients about PCT should attend.   Any practitioner who supervises a paralegal that does PCT work (and who is thus responsible for the work carried out by that paralegal) should attend.  Any paralegal that does PCT work should attend.

Should those who are located outside of the US attend?  Yes from time to time we will discuss US-specific aspects of PCT, but nearly all of the topics discussed will be of great interest to PCT enthusiasts located anywhere in the world.

CLE?  No, we have not made plans to seek CLE accreditation for these lectures.

Will I receive a certificate of attendance?  For each of these fifteen webinars, we have configured the hosting platform to send a certificate of attendance after the end of the webinar.   If you did not receive a certificate of attendance, this could be for any of several reasons:

      • Maybe you did not attend the entire webinar?  The system keeps track of how long you were logged in.  If you attended only a portion of the webinar, then the system will not send you a certificate.
      • Maybe the email went into your spam folder?
      • Maybe in some time past, you clicked “unsubscribe” to some communication from the hosting platform (maybe a communication relating to some Gotowebinar or Gotomeeting hosted by someone other than us).  If you did that, then the hosting platform is honoring your instructions by not sending you the certificate of attendance.
      • Maybe the system sent you the important email containing the link to your certificate, and you did not realize that this was the important email.  You may wish to look closely through your trash and spam and junk folders to try to find the important email.

The hosting platform creates the certificate of attendance “on the fly”, at the moment of sending the important email to you that contains the attached certificate.  The certificate of attendance attached to that important email is not preserved anywhere else after the email has been sent.  The hosting platform does not have any way to regenerate the certificate of attendance at some later time.

What if I miss one of the fifteen lectures?  In almost every lecture we will draw upon material covered in earlier lectures.  If you miss a lecture, we suggest downloading and studying the presentation slides for that lecture.  In addition, you may find it helpful to watch the recorded video of the corresponding Schwegman lecture from 2022.

Why now?   To learn what inspired this lecture series at this particular time, click here.

When may I download the slides?  We are presently editing each slide deck to bring it as up to date as possible.  As each slide deck is finalized, we will make it available as a link in the table above.

What time of day is each webinar?  We strongly urge you to use the “add to calendar” function when registering for each webinar.  This will enter the webinar into your calendar in your own time zone.  But to answer your question, each webinar will commence at 11AM Mountain Time.

I almost missed hearing about these fifteen free-of-charge lectures.  How can I make sure that I learn about future opportunities for PCT training?  To make sure that you learn about future opportunities for PCT training, do these things:
