Who would like to attend a complete PCT course?

Who would like to receive fifteen hours of training on the Patent Cooperation Treaty?  In past years this might cost hundreds of dollars to buy a badge to attend an in-person two-day program.  In past years you might have to spend money on airplane tickets and two or three nights of hotel rooms.  In past years, you would have to go somewhere on an airplane and spend at least two nights in a hotel.

Guess what?  The patent firm Schwegman Lundberg Woessner is doing everything to make it possible for you to attend fifteen consecutive webinars about the Patent Cooperation Treaty from the comfort of your home or office.  You will not have to pay a penny to attend these webinars.  The people of the Schwegman firm are making this available to you free of charge.

But these webinars are consecutive and cumulative.  To make sense of webinar number 8, you need to have attended webinars 1 through 7.  You need to block out time in your schedule for all fifteen webinars.  They are free of charge, but you need to dedicate your time and energy to all fifteen of these webinars.  To see the schedule, or to register, click here I suggest you book these dates and times in your calendar.

You have a choice.  You can pass up this unique opportunity, or you can commit to this unique opportunity.

I think you can guess where I am going with this.   I suggest you follow through on this unique opportunity.

And by the way if you know anybody who is connected with the Schwegman firm, right now is the time to drop them a note and to say “thank you” to them for providing this opportunity for you.

  1. This looks like a great opportunity. Unfortunately there are a few key sessions that I already know will be impossible for me to attend. This might pose a problem if the sessions really are as cumulative as you say. Will each session be recorded so that it’s possible to catch-up before the next session? Or at least will each session’s slides be provided before the subsequent session?

    1. See these words which have recently been added to the online brochure:

Each session’s recording and presentation materials will be available on-demand to all registrants.

So if you miss a session, you could see a raw video recording of the missed session and this could help you make up for missing the session.

  2. Will this course be eligible for CLE credits? Maybe in Colorado?
I have attended several of your PCT courses and nobody does it better.

    1. Thank you for your kind words! Yes if you go to the online brochure and click on “about”, you will see this:

We will apply for CLE credit in Minnesota, California, Texas, and Washington for this seminar.

    1. If you have not already done so, I suggest you click on the link that is provided in the blog article. This gets you to a place where you can register to attend.

    1. Could you click, please, on the link in the third paragraph of the article? Prompted by your comment I have revised that sentence to be in bold-faced print.

  3. Our company prohibits certain venues of how we can connect virtually. Can you tell us how you plan to do so? Ie: Zoom, Webex, Teams? Thank you

      1. Thank you for the information. I did click on the Register but must not have searched hard enough. We’re unfortunately, not permitted to use Zoom. We’ll have to opt out.

        1. We plan to edit the video recordings into polished final-form video recordings that should be suitable for later binge watching. I will post them somewhere as MP4 files. You could hopefully binge-watch the MP4 files from your company location. I realize this might not be quite the same as attending the live presentations, but maybe you might find it helpful.
