Last week I blogged about two new Private PAIR features — USPTO nice again — this time letting you check customer numbers and Now you can update entity size yourself! Here’s another nice new Private PAIR feature just released by USPTO — you can obtain a new customer number with just a few mouse clicks.The way it works is this. You log in at Private PAIR and click on “PAIR Administration”. Tick the button for Create New Customer Number. What’s nice is that if you want, optionally you can import information from existing customer numbers and edit it. Address, list of practitioners, etc. Click submit and instantly you have your new customer number. Not like the legacy approach where you have to wait a week or two to get the new customer number.
