Dear Carl, based on sheet 20 it seems one concern is not about the use of DOCX per se but about how the USPTO intends to process the document and create a filing receipt. I think it would be useful if you could share some examples of the same DOCX looking different without any conversion. So an example of opening the same DOCX file (same hash or bit-identical file) on different computers and looking significantly different. As I assume (but are not 100% certain) that you are not talking about a DOCX file looking different on a display simply if you open it on a computer with a different display resolution or the like.
