As a reminder I will be a speaker at the annual meeting of the National Association of Patent Practitioners, this coming weekend in Denver. On Saturday afternoon I will give an introduction to the Hague Agreement. On Sunday afternoon I will give a presentation called Get Patents Fast!, discussing the various initiatives at the USPTO for getting patents fast. I am told that NAPP will for the first time do some live streaming of its programming, offering a way to earn CLE credit remotely.
Of course the best way to hear and see me talk about how to Get Patents Fast! is to register for the meeting and show up in person. But another option, I am told, is to sign up for the live streaming. This will run from 9AM to 5:15PM Mountain Time on Sunday, July 12. The day is part of NAPP’s annual conference and Sunday is their day for “Nuts & Bolts.” The day of programming has, I am told, been approved for 8 hours of CLE in Colorado, with more states to follow. The registration fee for a day of live streaming (what better way to spend a Sunday!) is $400, except that I am told if you use a promo code of “Oppedahl” you will get a discount down to $350.
